In recognition of March being Colorectal Cancer Awareness Month, Maryland Endoscopy Center’s Lisa Pichney, M.D., is scheduled to be interview on BlogTalkRadio program “Anna’s Journey” on Thursday, March 13 at 8 a.m.
“Anna’s Journey” is a weekly radio show hosted by Anna Renault, an eight-time cancer survivor. An accomplished writer, Anna is the author of nine books, serves as the weekly editor of The Avenue News and as a contributor to the Essex Patch.
She has volunteered with the American Cancer Society for nearly 30 years and also serves on the Patient Advisory Board for Franklin Square Hospital (Baltimore, MD).
Dr. Pichney is a board certified gastroenterologist who has practiced in the greater Baltimore area for about 20 years. She received her training at the University of Maryland Medical School where she graduated summa cum laude.
Dr. Pichney is a fellow of the American College of Physicians, a fellow of the American College of Gastroenterology, a fellow of the American Gastroenterological Association and a fellow of the American Society for Gastrointestinal Endoscopy. Her interests include colon cancer screening and prevention.
